Theresa Kosmides, BSc
PhD Candidate
Tessa is a Ph.D. candidate in the Exner Lab. She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in 2018. After graduating, she worked at a CRO startup in Cleveland, Ohio focusing on pharmaceutical formulation and method development. She also worked at a veterinary diagnostic company in Portland, Maine where she focused on rare reagents and process development for immunoassays. She is interested in studying the intersection of biomaterials and diagnostics; specifically with the utilization of nanobubbles. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, doing crossword puzzles and playing volleyball.Â
